William Grant & Sons is an independent and family-owned company which has managed to become the third largest Scotch producer, trailing only Diageo and Pernod Ricard. The bulk of that production level comes from William Grant's blended Scotch label. However, it's Glenfiddich and The Balvenie which rightfully steal the attention of single malt aficionados. They're also well represented with Irish whiskey, thanks to Tullamore Dew, and have built up a stable with at least one brand in most major spirits categories.
